Today, I had the amazing opportunity to meet new people, but also to spread our message to help as many people across the FM area. I met some wonderful individuals standing at the booth who shared incredibly moving stories about loved ones who passed away from Alzheimer's. I just want to thank those who took interest in what we do because without people caring for a cause, a difference cannot be made. For many of those who were interested in helping us out in the future, I encourage you to contact us through our email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at: 404-398-2238. As for anyone interested in volunteering, our website has a volunteer form on the home page, please feel free to fill it out and give us your contact information!
Once again thank you to everyone! Both my partner and I started this because we have watched people suffer from conditions like this and today I got the opportunity to relate to many of you!
Lets spread our caring hands!

Thank You first off to all the volunteers and NDSU coordinators who helped make this event possible. With the diligent work of everyone, we were able to produce 37 sewn pillows and 11 no- sew pillows altogether, totaling to 48 pillows overall. Above are some of the sewn pillows that were created at the event by all these talented kids. Busy Hands is a starting nonprofit; however, the end goal of our dedication to this organization is to help impact as many patients across our community, and volunteer events like this, give us hope towards the future on a true impact. These pillows that were created will immediately be donated to the hospitals alongside with some nursing centers under the specific guidance of the Alzheimer's Association in Fargo.
Due to the tremendous success of this event, both Astrid and I have agreed upon holding more opportunities like this in the future, not only can this work go towards your personally volunteer credits, but it all ends up impacting our community for the better in the long run.
On that note, our next volunteer opportunity will take place in the month of July and if anyone is interested, please comment below.
Remember to Spread those Caring Hands!
