4H Event Moorhead

​Busy Hands had the great opportunity of working with another 4H group at the Moorhead Vista Vista Center for Education to help teach the youth how to get directly involved in their community. Both Astrid and I taught students to try new things from sewing on buttons to using a sewing machine for the first time. Taking these major milestones really pushes these students to work together in the future to make an impact in their community! We had a great time teaching and accomplishing with a multiple pillows finished and partially completed! All the thanks to go the leaders and also the young students who worked hard today in this project and hopefully they took away from knowledge while having fun during the activity!
As Busy Hands continues to grow and I hope to bring this project to more 4H and youth volunteer groups in the Fargo-Moorhead Area!
