Who We Are

The primary goal of Busy Hands is to be able to up-cycle fabrics and truly create a simple comfort for many people living with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Stroke who suffer the unusual habits associated with Alzheimer's, Dementia, and even Stroke. These pillows will then be able to reach patients across the FM area, giving them not only something to do with their hands, but also providing some hope.

About Us

Astrid Axtman Co-Founder and President of Busy Hands: She oversees production of pillows, distribution of materials, and pattern making. She manages events and public relations. Astrid attends Gustavus Adolphus college and enjoys debate, dance, choir, cooking, and playing the accordion.

Linnea Axtman
Chief Operating Officer:
Linnea attends Davies High School and enjoys running, dancing, joking, playing the piano, and helping others.

Dyuti Dawn Co-founder of Busy Hands graduated from Davies High School and was involved in speech, debate, piano, choir, and being a Girl Scouts. Dyuti no longer actively serves with Busy Hands.
